A Day With Friends

Marian has a great classroom next to her long-arm studio, we met there for our June Sew Day.

Rosy seeks advice on piecing her backing.

I'm putting the final border on my Patches and Pinwheels quilt.

Wow, that red sure pulled it all together!

Turns out both Rosy and Marian both had magnet wands...

... Kathy watched the duel.

Marian prepared summertime refreshments.

Strawberry margaritas!

Then we ate lunch on the back patio and admired the view of the backyard. What a great day!

Leslie,
Can you tell me how you find time to quilt? I teach to and by the summer so much has been left undone that I find myself doing it all. I'd like to work on quilting. Please give me any tips you might have. Looks like you had an absolutely wonderful time.
Quilt is lovely too!

OK, I already said it, but I love your pinwheels and 4-patches. The green background border actually becomes part of the whole, and yes, the red is perfect!
