I know one sock is only half way there, but I'm just so tickled. It's a new skill learned and I persevered. I frogged and reknit the heel three times and the toe twice. No wonder I feel like I've been at this one item so long! But it fits like a glove... no, a custom knit sock!
A big thank you goes to
Kristin for her fabulous photo-illustrated tutorial. And to Jo at
Celtic Memory Yarns for the inspiration. Her dreamy socks make this one look like a work-a-day garment. But we all have to start somewhere.

Leslie, I can't imagine how I - chaotic, distracted, permanently afflicted by start-itis - could be anyone's inspiration - but I'm honoured, nevertheless! Get that second sock started right away, before Second Sock Syndrome hits. Love the yarn and especially the contrasting heel and toe - what make is that?
Love quilting and patchwork myself - oh if only there were enough time for everything...
What a beautiful color (s)! Looks warm and cosy and it fits perfect! Okay....now keep going! Your other foot is jealous I am sure!
It's beee-you-ti-ful!!!
