StarStruck Borders

Hi,
In among the Ninepatch sewing I've been piecing the long rows on my StarStruck.

Can't decide on borders though. I have lots of HST cut aways from the piecing. See which one you like best.

Sawtooth

Hourglass

Pieced Pyramids

Stacked Pyramids

I want the pieced border to compliment the stars, not overpower them. I know they all sorta look the same, but whaddya think?

Gee, they all look great, but I like the pieced pyramids the best. Your stars are gorgeous. Great top.

Isn't it fun to be able to design before cutting! I like those pieced pyramids too, but wonder if they would look better if that first border was blue instead of yellow, and maybe a bit wider... as if the pyramids were floating? Sorry, I get so carried away on EQ6 that I can't help nosing in.

I love those colors and look forward to see the finished one!

I've just spent ages deciding which one, but I think my vote goes to stacked pyramids.

Well....gee....I like the 'sawtooth'. I think it makes the center "pop"! Then again, I like the 'stacked pyramids'. But, really the 'sawtooth'!!!

THey are all just great! I did that quilt a while ago, and saved ALL the trimmings from the quick corners. They made an impressive border (had to add a few of one color). The tiny triangles are what folks comment about!

All you "yellows' are soft and gentle - pretty.

I like Sawtooth. There's enough going on in this quilt -- the simpler border keeps attention where it belongs. IMNSHO.
