The summer garden is finally winding down. I harvested my tomatoes and set to work making Green Tomato Chutney.
I've never made it before, but it's good. I served it with a mild cheese and wheat crackers but I can easily see eating it on toast or using it instead of sweet pickle relish.
The only down side is that one batch hardly made a dent in the number of tomatoes!
ETA: It tastes even better after it's sat for a day or so, the sharpness from the cider vinegar mellows.
