I've been reading how bad plastic is for the environment as well as our bodies, so I made a concerted effort to find food and water container alternatives. It all started with wanting a way to not drink water from a plastic water bottle, then one thing lead to another.

It was also interesting to me to notice I've had these Tupperware canisters for 35 years or longer. A couple of them were given to me by my Mother-in-law, who knows how long she had them! That just underscores for me the way plastic never goes away, no matter how long it's around.
