Color Check

Making more Ocean Wave blocks, mixing and matching contemporary prints, retro and original prints from the 1930's. Evey once in awhile I put a batch of them on the design wall to see if they mesh. I want a nice balance of color, value and print.



Looks good from here. The colors in the lower picture are truer to the original. I've thought about how it's going to be quilted. Here's an option.



Then again, simple parallel lines would let the patchwork shine. Oh well, I have time to think that over. ;)

i love the intracacy (you know i cannot spell) of this quilting... but, it does take away from the patchwork. However, as a child, i was always fingering the quilting lines of the "napping" quilt i was under.
