Aid to Machine Quilting

I recently used some of my husband's car wax and put a coat on the bed of my machine and the surrounding table. Not only does it look great, but now quilts move with ease when I machine quilt. I read about this in blogland, can't remember where. Thank you for the suggestion!

That sounds like a good idea. I bought one of those things that you put on the bed of your machine to make it easier to slide the quilt around, but it seems like it's easier to move it around when I forget to put that on - and it cost $30! I think I'll try the wax.
